My folks are watching my two nieces this weekend and we decided to all go to the Fort Worth Zoo since it was so gorgeous out. Ethan and the girls had a great time, really glad we went. Check out the slideshow or hit Read More below to view it as a gallery.
Sometimes, with a large photo gallery, you get so wrapped up in managing and maintaining it that you forget to stop and actually look at your photos. This shot randomly caught my eye earlier and it just says so much about future possibilities. It was taken during the kid's first trip to our brand new house, before we had even moved in.
As I further explore the features and capabilities of my new SmugMug account I keep stumbling onto awesome things. My latest revelation is smart galleries. Smarter than your average gallery! I plan to use this particular feature to great effect. Hit "Read more!" to reward your eyeballs.
Had a great weekend with family and the monkey moose had fun hunting for Easter Eggs! Plus it was a great excuse to dust off the DSLR which I have had far too little time to screw around with. Find some awesomely cuteness after the break.

I has been far too long since I’ve posted here (I’m ignoring the previous NY picture post that was an epic fail) and need to get back on the ball. A lot is going on down in Houston, the biggest is that we are GETTING OUT OF HOUSTON. Yay!
The real reason I’m writing this is to share our pictures from New York. The wife took me on an awesome trip for a Christmas/Birthday joint gift and we had a blast. Check it out below.
1/20/2010 – Empire State Building
1/21/2010 – Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
1/22/2010 – USS Intrepid and Blue Man Group
1/23/2010 – St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Comic Con Aftermath
Epilogue - Aftermath
We are back in Houston* and took an extra day off work** to recoup. I took the three 'prize' art we got from the event and went ahead and put them in frames for hanging, later. I also snapped a few shots of the various loot scattered about the house. I'll probably add a few more when we get our FedEx box of the stuff that we couldn't fit on the plane and had to ship!

Comic Con Day Five
Sunday - Day Five
Here they are, the photos of our final day at Comic-Con :( We had a great time, saw lots of...interesting people to boot! Captions should be coming for all the albums soon, hopefully in the next few days. Also look for a wrap-up type post here on our thoughts and considerations for Comic-Con 2009! Enjoy!

Comic Con Day Four
Saturday - Day Four
Today we camped out in Ballroom 20 for the entire time in order to be able to watch the Fringe and True Blood panels. So most of the photos are from the various panels we saw, others are of the crowd and more costumes. Good day all in all! There are also some videos of the True Blood panel over on http://www.qik.com/jeroddunn that are unedited so far, but available for your viewing pleasure.

Comic Con Day Three
Friday - Day Three
Day three had some disappointment because Amber missed her panel that she really wanted to see, highlight of the trip sort of thing. She got over it once she started playing Dragon Age: Origins over at the EA Gamers Lounge! Need to go ahead and make a second pre-order now, she's hooked! More costumes, hopefully tomorrow there will be even more!

Comic Con Day Two
Thursday - Day Two
Daaaay TWO! Alright, we were a little more prepared this time, but apparently the lines to get into the panels are very, very long. Missed a couple because the line snaked all the way outside, sheesh!

Comic Con Day One
Wednesday - Day One
Wednesday was preview night for everyone that had a 4 day pass. Amber and I tore it up for a bit and checked out the Exhibit Floor with all the vendor booths. Pretty awesome stuff out there! Check out our first set of photos below! I'll try to post the photos that Amber has taken later!

Comic-Con HOOOOOOOOO!
Just a heads up to keep an eye on this space for photos of Comic-con! I will try to throw them up every night, but who the hell really knows? I promise to try to try to not post pictures while drunk. :)

If you have never been to an Under the Water the Sea party for a 7 year old, then you are seriously missing out! What did we get her you might ask? Why a Touch n' Brush of course! Why? Who knows, the kid wanted one.
Last year was my first attempt to shoot fireworks and it turned out a little... "first time" like. This year I had an even better opportunity! Great! Except one minor detail, I forgot my tripod in Houston and we were watching the fireworks in San Antonio, DOH! No problem, this year I had a remote and a much better lens to shoot with and I wasn't going to let something like no tripod get me down. Nothing a folded up towel and beer cooler can't fix! I also got a chance to get some precious shots of my nieces, double points! Photos are below, enjoy!
Lake Buchanan Camping Trip
Last weekend the wife and I went on a 'camping' (in 'cabins') trip with my parents and now pregnant sister and her husband. We took the opportunity to take some FANTASTIC photos of the lake and surrounding wilderness. Check out the slide shows below and let me know what you think.
Llano, TX and Enchanted Rock
A fishing spot we found around the lake.

For fellow Wooters we recently got a bag of crap (April 1st for fellow Wooters) and I snapped some shots of what it contained. Some pretty good swag!
Phone Photo Extravaganza!
I recently installed a program called Shozu on my E71. What it allows me to do is automatically upload any pictures I take on my mobile to my Phone Picasa photo gallery. The amount of pictures I've taken with my phone since that time has at least doubled in frequency, as I now have an easy way of getting them to the world, where previously they would just sit on my phone.
Some pretty funny shots in there so if you are interested go take a peak. If you aren't, well, then, the hell with you.

The wife and I recently got back from a short little excusrion to the more German side of Texas to enjoy some down time. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate quite as much as we had hoped, but we did find plenty of time to lay around and smash some Xbox 360 controllers. Lets not even get started on the beer and sausage related food... mmm, mm.
Pictures if you hit the full post.
