Against the Wall

Post by Unknown |

In their first post of Humanity week ArenaNet discusses the spirit of the human race and has many sound clips for readers to enjoy. I highly recommend checking the article out.

Plan on getting Guild Wars 2? Going to play a human? I am very tempted to roll a human warrior myself, to carry on the legacy of Redeye The Wall.

Ghosts of Ascalon

Ghosts of Ascalon (Guild Wars, #1)Ghosts of Ascalon by Matt Forbeck

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book for both the story and the subtle spoilers and hints provided for Guild Wars 2. I have always been a huge Guild Wars lore fan and this just added more fuel to the fire. I can't wait to read the second (and third?) book and am eagerly anticipating the release of the second Guild Wars game!

Following The Wall - III

Post by Unknown |

Today marked the culmination of a long series of events.  For the past several weeks I have been playing with one goal in mind, to gain the proper reputation and funds to acquire the Silver Eagle armor set.  After completing the M.O.X. series of quests I decided that I had sufficient platinum to purchase my armor.  You can now find a splendid Silver Eagle armor set decorating my Hall of Monuments!

Following the Wall - II

Citizens of Tyria head my call.  Mark this date upon the annals of history and burn it into your mind.  For in the future your children and your children’s children shall ask you a question many a time.  They will ask for you to relay the story when on the twenty seventh day of the eight month of the two thousand and ninth year during the twenty third hour when Redeye The Wall finally threw down the Forgotten generals when all was thought lost in a bitter, bloody battle amongst the Dunes of Despair!  For yes, it is true!  Upon this day utter victory was achieved for the first time despite repeated failed attempts.  This is what will be asked of you and you will relay unto them the tales of heroics, of the suffering of the countless nights spent toiling amongst the Dunes as Redeye The Wall struggled for the victory that only comes with the destruction of all the enemy generals.  You read it here first hand and your task is to never forget.

Following the Wall - I

Post by Unknown |

It is no small secret that I like Guild Wars.  In fact, I consider Guild Wars to one of, if not the, games thatgw003[1] I enjoy the most.  I have always felt that ArenaNet did a great job of crafting a familiar yet original and fresh fantasy world.  They set the mood of the game right off by literally destroying civilization and it just gets better from there.  Now having made my feelings on the game clear I want to start up a little ongoing project in this space and that is photos of adventures of my main character Redeye The Wall.

I will start off with a quick little jaunt to see a friend of all intrepid adventurers, Nicholas The Traveler.  If you aren’t familiar with Nicholas I suggest you round up a party and seek him out.  Once a week in exchange for a handful of common and easily acquired items Nicholas will trade a few very special Gifts of the Traveler to you, up to five to be precise.  Nicholas is a true friend as he treated me to such wonderful gifts such as alcohol and fireworks to fire recklessly into the air as I stumble about in a drunken stupor.  The gifts can be quite rewarding if you enjoy collecting mini-pets and rare weapons, however, so I highly recommend you pack your bags and find this broker of fortune.
